Book 3 buddies (in black & white because my new phone does not like to take photos of screens).
AU where Aang never makes it out of the ice. Avatar Korra grows up in the Southern Water Tribe with her best friends, Katara and Sokka. Upon turning seventeen, Korra sets out to save the world.
Bonus comic of Korra discovering her sexuality: beating up attractive people.
Howdy, friends. I haven’t posted in a while as I’ve been buried under deadlines as well as under the weather. We are all really excited with how Book 3 is turning out. As promised, it features a lot more Lin Beifong than Book 2, so I thought I’d share a cool screen shot of her. OK, I’m going to crawl back underneath my deadlines and cough.
i tried making it look like one of those awkward family photos but idek here you go merry christmas
Voice Actors and Actresses from Avatar The Last Airbender who came back with new characters in The Legend of Korra.
I’m sorry but Varrick is my favorite character this season, and maybe in both books. I don’t give a shit if he was a “villian”, he’s hilarious but also smarter than he lets on. He played everyone up until Mako caught on, and in this particular gif set he had an escape plan that nobody else would have thought to do because he’s that crazy. Do you think that Mako would have thought to have a set of wings made just in case something happened to make an opening in the wall. Do you think that Korra would have thought to free fall from that building in order to escape? No, probably not. That’s called thinking outside of the box, my friends!
Also he is shady and sort of a villain but not the villain — but not because he’s less competent (like Zhao vs Azula) but because he has different aims. He’s an AMAZING representation of an entrepreneur businessman: he’s creative, crazy like a fox, takes risks, and doesn’t care what lies and bullshit and collateral damage fall out in his pursuit of the bottom line.
This is the makorralin that I ship.
